Why Locals Love Café Capone
Situated in the vibrant 12th arrondissement of Paris, Café Capone is a captivating fusion of a cafe, bar, brewpub, and an exceptional dining spot specializing in French and Italian cuisines. This multifaceted gem invites guests on a delicious journey through distinctive flavors, with a menu featuring standout dishes like wood-fired pizzas, hearty pastas, and exquisitely prepared grilled calamari, all crafted to delight the senses.
From the moment you step inside, Café Capone enchants with its stunning interior—a lush, plant-adorned space that blends a chic brasserie ambiance with a unique steampunk flair. The atmosphere strikes a harmonious balance between cozy and vibrant, making it an ideal destination whether you're meeting friends for lively drinks or enjoying a leisurely meal.
The culinary experience here is nothing short of memorable. Reviewers alike praise the rich, authentic tastes, such as the perfectly al dente Penne all’Arrabbiata, which offers a fiery kick balanced by fresh, aromatic herbs. The pizzas, crisp and flavorful, are clearly a crowd favorite, delivering a melty, cheesy satisfaction that lingers long after the last bite. Grilled calamari and other grilled specialties bring tender textures and smoky hints that showcase the chef’s skillful hand.
Service at Café Capone has been described as warm and genuinely welcoming, with friendly staff who elevate the overall dining experience. It’s worth noting that during busy times, the pace may slow—a reminder to savor the moment, sip a carefully brewed craft beer at the brewpub section, and soak in the relaxing yet intriguing decor. This attentiveness to both food and atmosphere genuinely transforms a meal here into an event worth remembering.
Whether you're after a romantic date spot, a lively meet-up place for friends, or simply a quality meal infused with the love of French and Italian traditions, Café Capone delivers in spades. Food is delicious, staff is very kind and helpful. We ate pizza and really liked the test. However, the service is very slow. We waited over 30 minutes only for 2 pizzas. You should be patient and not starving when you visit here.

The location of this restaurant is very beautiful and it's amingzly decorated with a lot of plants and kind of a steampunk vibe. The food was mentionable as well and I highly can remommend the Penne'all Arrabiata. Furthermore the stuff seemed very professional and nice. Def worth a visit.

I was looking for some dinner after a really long day, and decided to try cafe Capone. My French failed me, as did my English! The bar man and waiter were amazing, friendly and patient. I left with energy restored, a full belly and a big smile. It was also nice to sit and enjoy the local vibe, having spent the day dodging my fellow tourists. What a wonderful place to finish my up travels.

The best salad we've ever eaten in Paris followed by a giant chocolate mousse to share. Decaf coffee was no trouble. The staff were friendly and attentive. And the decor included a small but genuine Italian sports car in the middle of the floor.

April 09, 2025 Pizza was excellent. Absolutely advisable. As to dessert... way too much suger. Not possible to eat. At all. Panakotta and Lemin cake. To the chef... please, consider that all the world goes down on suger. In Monaco. In Lyon... in Marseille... restaurants serve less and less suger. Merci beaucoup !
